Mojay as a brand started from the love of wearing wigs and makeup. I have always felt insecure about my forehead and my natural hairline and I tried to use wigs to achieve the hairline I wished I had but there was always the issue of my wigs never sitting right on my head. The wigs looked fake and unrealistic, they were either too big and kept poking my ears or too small that they caused headaches.​

This problem made me think of other people who want or need to wear wigs for any reason at all but keep having to deal with the same issues I had with already made wigs. So, I decided to learn wig making and how to source for good human hair, so as to provide high quality hair, custom made wigs with good customer experience.
